Hayley Orantia is an American actor, musician and singer. Most people know her by the title of Erica Goldberg, from the show 'The Goldbergs' on television. She is primarily the performer. Music is her first love she maintains; it is something that she started dabbling into when she was just nine years old. When she was 12 years old, music became seriously enough that she began formal training. Following a few attempts at music, she decided to record the album with covers at the age of fourteen. Since then, she has not stopped since then. Orrantia is an American native who has Hispanic origins. Though she's never spoken Spanish in Mexico She is extremely proud of her Hispanic culture. She strives to preserve it by learning to speak Spanish as well as writing songs using the language. She recorded an Spanish version of a song entitled 'Hasta Verte. Orrantia participated in The X Factor season 1's auditions throughout the summer of 2011. Orrantia was the winner of the initial season of The X Factor after she submitted a YouTube recording of her audition. She was awarded four "yes" vote by the judge on the live stage audition in Seattle. Though she initially auditioned in a single performance in "Hollywood Week", she and three female performers were put into an ensemble for the remainder of the auditions. The live shows were held in the fifth week.
