Angela Sargsyan, born in Yerevan Armenia on 16 December 1982. Angela was a very active and sporty kid. As early as age three, she began taking part in figure skating and swimming. She continued figure skating until she was thirteen. Angela began karate shortly after giving up figure skating. In 1996 she earned an additional medal at the Armenian Youth Full Contact Karate Championships which were held at Yerevan Armenia.
