Mary Marg Helgenberger born 16 November 1958, is an American actress. In the early 1980s, she started her professional career, and was recognized for portraying Siobhan Ryan in the daytime soap opera Ryan's Hope between 1982 and 1986. She is the youngest of the four siblings. McCain completed her schooling at her school, the Phoenix Country Day School and Xavier College Preparatory an all-girl private Catholic high school. In 2007, she received her master's degree in art history from Columbia University. She graduated in 2017 and became co-host on the daytime program The View, which she hosted from 2021 to 2021. For her work she was awarded the honor of four Daytime Emmy Award nominations. Other ventures McCain began writing columns for the Daily Mail newspaper after her three-year stint at The View. McCain also wrote four books: The Story of My Dad John McCain, Dirty Sexy Politics and America You Sexy Bitch.
