Forbes magazine, in its August 2020 issue, ranked Addison Rae to be the highest TikToker earner worldwide. She's also among the top TikTok users. Addison Rae, in addition to being popular on TikTok is also well-known on Instagram YouTube and Twitter. In 2021, she made her debut on the stage by releasing her song Obsessed. The song peaked at the top fourth spot on the New Zealand Hot Singles Chart and was the sixth trending YouTube video the day after it was released. Addison Rae was also nominated for prestigious awards such as The People's Choice Awards, MTV Movie & TV Awards, as well as the Kids' Choice Awards.
