In 201, she made her debut as an actor in the Australian soap opera called Home and Away. She was in a minor role for just two episodes. The small part she played she performed such that the casting director was compelled to have her play all the roles. Although she did try out for the role, she was not selected. Instead, she was cast in the show as Cassie Turner, a young troubled girl who lives with foster parents. Fans and critics of the show praised the role she played.
